« Metallurgy is a pseudo-science concerned with undetermined suppositions,
indefinite theories, and inexpressible hypotheses, based upon unreliable
informations, uncertain quantities and incomplete data, derived from
unconvincing experiments, indiscrimate investigations and non-reproductible
operations, using instruments, equipements and ustensils of problematical
accuracy, insufficient resolution and inadequate sensivity by persons of
doubtful reliability, indeterminate parentage, and questionable intelligence.
